Visionary Organizations allow us as individuals to fulfill our gifts and soul‘s purpose. In these Organizations, we feel engaged and honored for what we have to uniquely bring. We do what we love and we shine doing it. An organization has its own soul and greater purpose for its existence. The bottom line is to serve humanity and the greater web of life.
Organizations are compassionate entities. We are family. We invest in each other and support each other in transformation and growth. We believe each person is here for a reason. We see where different people’s strengths, creativity and unique gifts can contribute. We trust all to know what is theirs to do. We are intrinsically motivated by the goodness of our hearts.
We are whole and imperfect human beings and all parts are invited. When challenges arise, we recognize our opportunity to heal them within the organization. Collective shadows can be worked out through our microcosm. We do our shadow work so we can fulfill our fullest expressions individually and collectively. We develop the skill and ability to work through things and show up in radical ways.
Organizations of the future support the whole family, both in and out of the organization. They operate in powerful, stable and sustainable ways. They honor transparency, accountability and integrity. Everyone has the capacity to voice his or her opinions. Values, vision and mission are verbalized and constantly co-created and re-created to honor the emergence of what is new. Organizational structures support the uniqueness of the organization’s purpose and needs. They provide facilitation so people can bring up tensions, address them quickly and receive support in a loving way. Organizations give back and share their prosperity with the land and community.
Visionary Organizations are deeply embedded in the web of intelligence that runs underground. They are completely organic and part of the whole. They know and honor their reason for existence and relationship to everything around them. Inside organizations, we make decisions based on our dreams and intuitions. We incorporate ritual. We are in harmony with how people and nature move.
The health of the company depends on the organic nature of what the company is doing. Success is measured by happiness, joy, learning capacity and growth. Organizations allow people to make progress however that is defined for them.
