September 7-10, 2018WisdomWomen is a growing movement of women who believe it is time to look in a revolutionary new direction and build our world from a different paradigm. We are not asking whether or not this can be done. We are claiming that it is ours to do.
This Visionary Gathering is intended to support us as women to embody our sovereignty – to bring our fragmented parts into wholeness, in our bodies, with the Earth, in community – to serve a new world vision.
Through the wisdom of the womb, we will explore how our unique life force and expressions of love can be a force for healing, both at the individual and collective levels. We will co-create a sacred field of collaboration where new possibilities can be conceived and nurtured in sisterhood. As a community, we will explore and set in motion new cultural models around sexuality, intimacy, relationship and family.
We are experimenting with new paradigms of community and gathering by holding a space for everyone one of us to be vulnerable, share our stories, our challenges, and our dreams. We invite women in attendance to co-create a gathering where we:
- Nurture our selves and our sisterhood through movement, ceremony and connection to the Earth
- Reclaim our bodies, sexuality, sensuality and the unique wisdom we each hold through practices and activities
- Allow the emergent wisdom of the group field to guide our time together
- Access the fertility of a collective feminine field that is rising in the world
Visionary Gatherings are a gateway experience for continued radical co-creation as a community. WisdomWomen’s ongoing Visionary Council on Sacred Sexuality, as well as our support network and other offerings, will nurture the possibilities we birth together.
WisdomWomen will be inviting women into this gathering through an application process so we can learn about our participants and weave them into the group. Click this link to fill out your application. Your application will be reviewed within 30 days or less of submission, after which you will receive confirmation and instructions for registration.
Tara Mandala is an international Vajrayana Buddhist community in the mountains of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. It is guided by Lama Tsultrim Allione, author of Wisdom Rising, Women of Wisdom and Feeding Your Demons. Bordered by the San Juan National Forest and Southern Ute Tribal Land, the retreat center is on 700 acres of rolling hills and meadows, offering refuge and renewal. Its heart is the extraordinary three-story mandala Tara temple that houses statues of the 21 Taras.
The sacredness of this land and community makes it the perfect place to host our Visionary Gathering on Sacred Sexuality. You can learn more about Tara Mandala, accommodations and pricing information by clicking on this link. We recommend a visit to the amazing hot springs of Pagosa Springs before or after the gathering.

A Personal Message from Nadine
At this gathering we won’t be learning “101 ways to please our man” or how to pop ping pong balls from our Yonis, although we can certainly engage in conversations and share our wisdom with each other! 🙂 We are coming together in deep womanhood to honor and nourish each other, to acknowledge the phases of Life and bear witness to the mystery unfolding within each of us. We may be called to hold Maiden, Mother, Crone Rites of Passage. We come to soak in the healing waters of Pagosa Springs, to jump in the river, to laugh, cry, dance and pray.
This is an invitation to come join the inner circle of Wisdom Women and profoundly hold one another as we are all stepping forward in the world to answer the call of the Divine Feminine to rise in bringing balance back to life.
Some of us are looking at how we structure romantic relationships in this day and age and what is the new paradigm of conscious relationship? Monogamy, polyamory, open, celibacy, divorce, widowed, swinging, infidelity, “monogamish”, Twin Flames, Sacred Union, High Monogamy…. What do I want and what do I need? And what about the children?
We are navigating parenting, work, health, aging, shepherding the next generation…we carry so much in our hearts as women.
Come and lay it all down with us and let’s get Real.
We will be dropping in to be real, raw and supportive of one another. We are so held and healed by the land, waters, delicious healthy food, and spiritual enrichment of Tara Mandala.
It is a unique privilege and gift to be invited to hold our gathering at Tara Mandala, doing our work in a magnificent temple surrounded by the 21 golden statues of Tara in all of her faces. Words fall short of describing the beauty, essence and spiritual significance. It is like truly being in an uplifted dimension.
Getting to Tara Mandala is part of the journey, and it begins when you say yes… register and buy those tickets! For the last two years I have had the most amazing road trips and fun rich bonding with other women. It’s a joy I have rarely had in my years since mothering. I treasure the times of traveling to and from, of having my food cooked for me! I have made a few of the deepest most meaningful friendships in my life through Wisdom Women and our travels and gathering together. I am collaborating with many of the women in powerful projects in my life. I am eternally grateful for the character of women I have met with these gatherings, for the connection and beautiful rhythm of ‘coming to the circle together’ in these annual gatherings.
Please come and join us in the Red Tent this year.I share more about the Red Tent and what Sacred Sexuality means to me in this blog post. I want to play with you all, laugh, move and sing… share and witness, drop in and know where you are in life… how we can support each other in our continuous blossoming wherever we are on our path.
