Elevating women to actualize innovative social models.
About the Collaboratory
Our current political, economic and ecological systems are failing – humanity needs a quantum leap. Our community is comprised of women leaders who hold deep wisdom, vast experience and big visions that we wish to put towards these issues in new ways. We support one another in birthing our visions and taking our initiatives to the next level.
These projects are underway with members of the WisdomWomen community.

In 2017 WisdomWomen hosted a ‘Sacred Earth Activism’ Visionary Gathering in Costa Rica, where we met with a leader of an indigenous community from Matagalpa, Nicaragua. We are now collaborating with this community and hold a mutual intention to unite together as stewards of Mother Earth. Our efforts have included translation services, support for crowdfunding and helping to sell coffee made through their local women’s collective.

Womb Temples are virtual and physical spaces for women to share about their sexuality, learn to create from their womb wisdom and explore practices that empower and awaken their full creativity and life force. Womb Temples promote a more healthy and empowered sexual culture while healing sexual wounds between the genders. WisdomWomen hosted a Womb Temple in September 2017 at Tara Mandala Retreat Center, at our 2018 Visionary Gathering at Esalen, and will host another at Tara Mandala in September 2018.

This initiative offers a visionary container for girls and young women to be part of co-creating a more beautiful world. WisdomWomen hosted girls ages 7+ at our Visionary Gathering at Esalen, where members of our community offered activities for mothers & daughters.

The intention of RisingVillage is to research and learn about individuals and communities who are living and working in generative ways, experiment with living into a new story, and weave a web of individuals and communities who are committed to co-creating a more beautiful world. This project also intends to help build budding villages through gatherings.
A New Way
We use the following WisdomWomen principles as guides to support our projects:
VISION LED: Allowing the vision to guide the journey forward.
CO-CREATION: Honoring each other as whole in our wisdom.
EMERGENCE: Honoring structure and allowing fluidity.
HONORING FAILURE: Compassionately seeing our ‘failures’ as gifts and lessons.
DEEP LISTENING: Allowing the wisdom of our bodies and visions to guide us.
INSPIRED ACTION: Taking action after we have followed the emergence of the vision.
SACRED HOLDING: Holding each others’ visions and dreams with emotional and practical support.
