A NEW WAY
WisdomWomen is an experimental space for women to take the courageous and vulnerable path of pioneering a world that honors all of Life. The following principles guide our journey.
MOVING TOWARDS THE DREAM
We support each other in seeing, naming and owning our most sacred visions. We place our focus and trust into these visions, which have their own intelligence. We do not hold these visions as our own, but rather allow ourselves to be vessels through which they manifest. We allow the vision to guide the journey forward.
In our peer community, we honor each other as whole in our wisdom, experiences and knowing. We speak up and contribute what is ours to contribute. Women in leadership positions are trusted to facilitate the group so every voice is heard and to connect us to the greater whole of WisdomWomen.
We honor structure and allow fluidity. There is a radical faith that there are other realms at work – however you define that. We follow the greater collective field that we are of service to. ‘What wants to happen next?’ is the process question. We flow with the shifts and changes that arise.
As we experiment with bringing new ideas to form, we will make mistakes and need to overcome our known and comfortable ways and patterns. Therefore, we create a space where ‘failures’ are seen as gifts and lessons. We hold compassion for the old patterns, shadows and fears that we must face, yet we do not remain fixated on our old stories.
We tune into the wisdom and knowing of our body to guide us each step of the way. We listen to the subtle sensations and messages of the body and when it communicates that something is or is not aligned. We listen to the deep messages of the visions moving through us.
We take action after we have listened to the emergence of the vision and where it wants to take us.
We hold each other’s stories and dreams with emotional and practical support, and help each other birth them into the world.
We share our process, fears, and dreams with one another in order to relate and support each other on the journey of co-creating in a new way.
We honor and accept that two seemingly opposite perspectives may be true at the same time.
