Bio: As an artist and bodyworker, Amy Lynn Couch has spent the last 25 years of her life dedicated to creative soul healing and helping others heal from trauma. She has been a licensed bodyworker since 2000 and has been a Qi Gong practitioner since 1995. Amy has worked as a visual artist for the Arts-In-Medicine program at UNM Hospital and the Cancer Center at Lovelace in Albuquerque, NM and teaches a workshop she developed in creative healing called DRAWing: Divine Radiance Awakening Within™, where participants learn to taproot down into their own personal healing reservoir of images and inner wisdom using Qi Gong, guided imagery, art making, and journaling. Amy Lynn Couch paints images of flourishing, thriving, vital life-force energies designed to inspire and uplift our collective spirit, give form to our wildest dreams of a world in harmony with Nature and each other, and show the Divine Feminine and Masculine as equal, complementary forces. Amy also designs and creates hand-carved altarpieces born out of her desire to honor the Divine Feminine in all of Her forms, across time and culture, and to bring visual representations of Her into our modern Western culture. She wants to create a world where women, our bodies, our knowing, and all of Nature is revered as holy. Acknowledging that Spirit is intimately woven into flesh and all matter. Divine Embodiment. Leslie Frame-Crowley is a WisdomWomen Founding Member who believes in the power and necessity of sacred storytelling. Coming from a family with a strong tradition of story, and of understanding and connecting to the of the lives of her ancestors through genealogical study handed down from generation to generation, she connected very early on the the power, the fun, and the importance of story; our own stories, and our shared story. This calling has led her to the stage as an actor and to develop a love of writing. Step Into the Circle is a reflection of Leslie’s love of story. She believes that as we share our stories, our dreams, and our work, and as we celebrate other women as they do the same, connections are made, resources are shared, and creative hearts are nourished.
