I have spent a lot of time envisioning new possibilities for my life and for our world, which is why I started WisdomWomen ~ to bring community together so we could birth our visions into form. So we could live life on this gorgeous and abundant Earth as we believe it is intended to be lived.
At some point during my visioning process I realized that there was also deep grief that I hold about how we currently live on this planet. I realized that I needed to feel this grief in order to birth my dreams, but intuitively I knew that I couldn’t do it alone. I needed to come together with other women to grieve for the pain and suffering of this world.
In the recent months, between violence against our black brothers and sisters, bombings around the world killing innocent lives and political leaders abusing their power, the knowing that I need to grieve with others has come in even stronger.
I know that I am not alone. Myself and a group of women have been holding council preparing for our Visionary Gathering at Tara Mandala Center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado from September 9-11. Ending our weekend together on 9/11 inspired the theme of this gathering to be about Grieving & Dreaming and we have been feeling the potency of coming together for this intention.
Now more than ever it is time for us as women to grieve our current reality and dream into the reality we know is possible. I invite you to join us for this Visionary Gathering at Tara Mandala.
