Friday, January 26: Arrival & Opening
2:30pm: Rooms are available for check-in
7:30-8:00pm: Esalen Orientation

8:45-9:00pm: Fire Ritual
*During Open Space, participants can suggest or host activities not otherwise in the program. Suggestions: meet with women from your region – explore topics you are interested in (such as those aligned with WisdomWomen’s Visionary Council topics) – suggest a trade by offering something you have and asking for something you need.
10:00-12:00pm: Closing Session
4:00pm: Shuttle departure
ONGOING ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND
Sensory Lounge: A quiet, welcoming and nurturing space with soothing, sensory objects (music, aromatherapy, pillows and blankets, etc.) to just ‘be’ during the gathering.
Interactive Art Installations: Weaving personal and collective visions, coaxing out peoples’ creativity in spontaneous ways.
Ancestor Altar: Play a role in creating, memorializing, and energizing a sacred altar, for the invisible but present personal stories, memories, ancestors, family members, dreams, losses, and elements of our goddess nature
Earth Altars: Contribute to element altars (earth, water, air, fire) throughout the property
Indigenous Collaboration: Some of our members are collaborating with indigenous women in Central America. We will host a table with information about this relationship and the gathering we are planning with them in Nicaragua. Coffee and jewelry from their community will be for sale.
WisdomWomen Hub: An informational space to ask questions, check the schedule, post your Open Space suggestions and more.
OPTIONAL ITEMS TO BRING
For the ancestor altar: please bring your memorializing elements (photograph, object, etc) as well as adornment elements (flowers, fabric, artwork).
For the Song sessions: bring a simple song/chant you would like to share – fire or water themed songs are preferred, but all goddess/community/connection songs are welcome!
For the weekend, please bring any instruments you play!
PRINCIPLES & COMMITMENTS
We request that all participants read over the WisdomWomen Principles and Community Commitments prior to the gathering to get acquainted with how we will practice being in an emergent, co-creative container.
