An incubator for new initiatives birthed from the feminine collective.
Community Health Initiative
Project Lead: Alyson Contreras
The Community Health Initiative envisions a model of community health care that is truly health focused. This new model respects, educates and empowers each of us in our individual and collective needs for wellbeing. This community platform will be a place to share and receive wisdom, experiences, resources and recommendations that are aligned with our highest values. Together we can engage in an alternative to traditional health insurance that elevates our individual and communal health and recognizes our interdependence to one another and the Earth.
Project Lead: Michelle Stransky
Many have gathered to see The Man burn; now we come together to witness The Woman rise. RisingWoman is a radical experiment in community-building. An in-person experience of the new world. The exploratory themes of this temporary village are based off WisdomWomen’s Visionary Council topics. RisingWoman is a co-creative gathering intended to spark regional collaboration. Together, we tend to the land and leave it more beautiful. We create art as a gift to inspire the local area. This festival-like experience is open to all genders and is family friendly and drug and alcohol free. The first experience will take place August 9-12, 2018 in Boulder Creek, California.

About the Collaboratory
How does the Collaboratory work?
WisdomWomen offers a container where feminine wisdom is engaged with and honored during the creation process. We unite a team of collaborators and advisors to work alongside project lead(s), and harness the resources of our community members to actualize these projects.
How are initiatives chosen?
Each initiative has a distinct relationship with WisdomWomen, and an alignment with the essence and intentions of our community. These initiatives arise through one or several members and show themselves when they are ready. Also, each of these initiatives is related to one of our Visionary Council themes.
A NEW WAY
We use the following WisdomWomen principles as guides to support our projects:
MOVING TOWARDS THE DREAM: We support each other in seeing, naming and owning our most sacred visions. We place our focus and trust into these visions, which have their own intelligence. We do not hold these visions as our own, but rather allow ourselves to be vessels through which they manifest. We allow the vision to guide the journey forward.
CO-CREATION: In our peer community, we honor each other as whole in our wisdom, experiences and knowing. We speak up and contribute what is ours to contribute. Women in leadership positions are trusted to facilitate the group so every voice is heard and to connect us to the greater whole of WisdomWomen.
EMERGENCE: We honor structure and allow fluidity. There is a radical faith that there are other realms at work – however you define that. We follow the greater collective field that we are of service to. ‘What wants to happen next?’ is the process question. We flow with the shifts and changes that arise.
HONORING MESSY: As we experiment with bringing new ideas to form, we will make mistakes and need to overcome our known and comfortable ways and patterns. Therefore, we create a space where ‘failures’ are seen as gifts and lessons. We hold compassion for the old patterns, shadows and fears that we must face, yet we do not remain fixated on our old stories.
DEEP LISTENING: We tune into the wisdom and knowing of our body to guide us each step of the way. We listen to the subtle sensations and messages of the body and when it communicates that something is or is not aligned. We listen to the deep messages of the visions moving through us.
INSPIRED ACTION: We take action after we have listened to the emergence of the vision and where it wants to go.
SACRED HOLDING: We hold each other’s stories and dreams with emotional and practical support, and help each other birth them into the world.
TRANSPARENCY: We share our process, fears, and dreams with one another in order to relate and support each other on the journey of co-creating in a new way.
